Arise wins Global Sourcing Association Award with npower

Arise, in partnership with npower, has been named as the Utilities Outsourcing Project of the Year at the 2016 Global Sourcing Association Awards (GSA UK). Formerly known as the NOA Awards, the GSA UK Awards recognise and celebrate best practices in the sourcing world. And this year was, according to GSA UK CEO Kerry Hallard, the most competitive in terms of submissions.

Arise provides a virtual platform to connect primarily work-at-home small call centre businesses to companies that need a contact centre and other business services. npower, its partner for Utilities Outsourcing Project of the Year, is one of Britain’s leading energy companies, providing electricity and gas services to residential and business customers. It is also a part of the Innogy Group, which is one of Europe’s leading electricity and gas companies.

Keir Greenwood, Vice President and General Manager of Arise EMEA, said, “We signed up to undertake a journey together with npower, bringing the benefits of micro call centres that utilise the Arise platform to their estate. It’s the close working relationship that has helped make the journey predictable and dependable.”

Talking about their partnership which begun in early 2015, npower Outsource Partner Manager Joanne Webber said that their success can be attributed to a great working relationship, ‘access all areas’ approach and a passion to be better than the rest.
