16 Jun Father’s Day – Inspirations for work from home dads
All fathers are invisible in daytime;
Daytime is ruled by mothers and fathers come out at night.
Darkness brings home fathers, with their real, unspeakable power.
There is more to fathers than meets the eye.”
To all work-at-home dads…
A lot about fatherhood has changed in recent years. There is more call for a 21st century role model that has a greater involvement and share of roles and responsibilities traditionally seen as a mother’s. Men of today are moving away from the conventional disciplinarian stereotype and, instead, are assuming manifold roles in family management.
Just like mums, choosing to work from home to be able to spend more time with your family is one of the biggest career moves you could ever make. However, there will be times when you feel burnt out trying to maintain a healthy work-life balance, worry that you are not doing enough justice to the parent-child equation or feel guilty about taking a day off when you know you have so many other things to do. But, as any experienced parent will tell you, every once in a while you need to take a break, sit back, and enjoy your fatherhood being celebrated.
On the occasion of Father’s Day, we, at Arise, celebrate the power and influence work-from-home dads can have in shaping their children into responsible adults and binding their families into a wholesome unit. Donning the capes of a protector, supporter and teacher, sometimes dads need appreciation for their love and support too.
Fathers, let these quotes be your sunshine on cloudy days.
